Summer is always synonymous with the English invented game called cricket. This, in turn with summer holidays, is a mixture where not much really happens on the work front and much of the time is playing cricket with your friends in the backyard or on the beach, whilst drinking a few cold beers on a hot day.

This might involve listening to the latest game on the radio or sitting in front of the TV keeping a tally on the latest cricket score.

I don’t mind going to a cricket game just to chill out for a bit, or to have a bit of fun. I’ve dressed up in the crowd as Minions, Smurfs, Where’s Wally,  and a Lifeguard.

When there is a big tournament on like the Cricket World Cup, cricket fanatics tend to frequently check out the cricket score however they can – either online, listening to the live coverage on the car radio, or maybe even on the smart phone.

However, going back to dressing up at the cricket. Sometimes, people go to the cricket and take no notice of the game or the cricket score – they just want to party and have a good time, photo bombing random strangers photos whenever they get the opportunity to do so!

I have only been to one cricket game…something shortish? And I thought it was completely perplexing…I’m not sure I could stand the long ones…
