Become Vampire – Or At Least Kill One Yourself With A True Blood Stake in New Zealand

Become a Vampire Bro! Choice!

Today’s Offbeat Travel Photo is Become Vampire – Or At Least Kill One Yourself With A Free Stake in New Zealand, which was sent in via email from a friend of mine.

This is a very clever promotion for the True Blood TV Series in New Zealand (check out True Blood Series 1 and Series 2), which I guess has been capitalizing on the recent fad of Vampires and Werewolves.

That’s right, you can rip your own Stake off this great wall of television advertising and shove it into the closest Vampire that you find if you come across one coming home late after a big night out on the booze!

Or otherwise, I guess if you don’t, you’ll be bitten and Become a Vampire yourself!

Become Vampire - True Blood Promotion In New Zealand

It’s hard to gauge how big this Vampire Stake wall is, but I guess there are many New Zealand homes that are now safer from Vampire Bites! My red hot tip of the day is that if you are invited to a fancy dress party whilst you are travelling in New Zealand, I would probably avoid dressing up as a Vampire otherwise you might end up with a stake shoved through your heart – and that might really spoil your day. And for some reason, I don’t think that most travel insurance policies would pay out on a claim if this type of incident caused you some long term injuries. Life insurance probably wouldn’t pay up either if you had any dependants!

So there you go – grab yourself a Vampire Stake from some random advertising billboard somewhere if you visit the country that is located the furtherest away from anywhere else in the world! I think these stakes will eventually become collectors items!

Or if not, Become Vampire yourself and be bitten! Sounds like a lot of fun to me, not!
