Weather Indicators in Fiji!

Todays Funny Travel Photo is the Automatic Weather Station showing the Fijian ‘Weather Indicators’. Now this is making fun of a dry subject that is usually seen at the end of every news bulletin in the world. I would truly love to see the weather presenter cross live to this fantastic interpretation of a weather station that displays it’s unique instruments and indices to show what the weather is exactly doing at a certain point in time!

Check out this ‘Automatic Weather Station’ photo I took from the Kula Eco Park in Fiji. Have a careful look at the description on the right which talks about how to interpret one of the most famous tree seeds in the world!

Weather Indicators - Automatic Weather Station From Fiji - Coconut

Yes, this weather station is a coconut dangling from a wooden post.

That’s what I love about Fiji.

Fijians have a wicked sense of humour, and this is just another example that goes along with the many ‘Friendly Cannibals’ and ‘Vegetarian Sharks’ jokes you will hear when you visit these great islands in the South Pacific.

I’m going to build my own Automatic Weather Station, with these great Weather Indicators in my backyard soon! I will even call my local television news station to let them know I have an extremely accurate way of forecasting the weather at this exact moment in time!

More Weather Indicators Stuff

I think this Weather Station is nothing like the Oregon Scientific BAR388HGA Wireless Weather Station with Temperature/Humidity Display and Self-Setting Atomic Clock, Black. This one is a lot simpler, and a lot funnier!

Thanks so much to the Kula Eco Park and Tourism Fiji for providing this outing!  Based on the Weather Indicators and indices that had occurred previously, I had missed a cyclone by a couple of weeks!
