The Worlds Biggest Shopping Mall – A non shopper’s worst nightmare!

In it’s bid to rack up as many World Records as possible, apart from The Largest Ring In The World, Dubai is also home to The Worlds Biggest Shopping Mall by total area. This could possibly be one of the new wonders of the world.

Just to give you an idea of how big the Dubai Mall is – I spent 3 hours solid just walking around it, and still didn’t manage to even pass all of the shops, let alone, go into many of them. You need at least a couple of days just to walk around the place. I actually found the experience to be rewarding because I needed to walk off some of the food I had been scoffing down over the previous few days, and the Dubai Mall provided a comfortable air-conditioned environment to do this somewhat essential activity.

There are over 1200 different shops where you can blow your hard earned money at. If you spent 1 minute in each shop, you would need 20 hours for this kind of speed shopping alone!

First of all, there’s even a massive aquarium.

Once you’ve finished marvelling at the fish, you can try your hand at ice skating at the rink to cool down a little bit!

After doing these strenuous activities, why not gorge yourself on a macaroon tower in one of the numerous sweet shops.

All of the usual suspect big chains of fashion, electronics and food can be found at the Dubai Mall. You might even get lost inside it and never make it out to the outside world again if you just want to duck into the shops for a few minutes.

I’m a bit of a shopping avoider, but even I was impressed by the magnitude of The Worlds Biggest Shopping Mall!

Unfortunately, I didn’t spot any Funny Shopping Products to take home with me!
