Nugget Point is located near Dunedin, in New Zealand. It’s a popular place for tourists to check out on the South Island when travelling around the shaky isles.
Nugget Point is a bit ordinary when it’s pissing down rain and windy (like anywhere in the world), but it’s worth a look if you’re cruising around New Zealand. Actually, the weather down that way isn’t one of the regions strong points at some times of the year!
But once I got out of the car, I enjoyed the walk to and from the lighthouse at Nugget Point, and you can view animals such as seals, birds and other wildlife.
However, on the way to the lighthouse pictured above, is this rather ‘stating the obvious sign’.

Watch out, the cliffs at Nugget Point might come out and eat you!
