Great Barrier Reef Scenic Flights. Don’t go hungover..

It’s probably not a wise idea to go on a Great Barrier Reef scenic flight the morning after a big night out at the Fish D’vine Rum Bar because you might bring up the entire contents of your stomach within the small confines of a small propeller aeroplane!

That wouldn’t be much fun for anyone. I’m sure this stuff should be brought up (pardon the pun!) in the pre flight safety demonstrations!

However, that’s exactly what can happen (and unfortunately, has happened) when unwise punters decide to chance their luck by foolishly boarding a light aircraft to go on a scenic flight over one of the natural wonders of the world after having a big night out on the booze the night before.

Note, you might need to be somewhat of a gazillionaire to stay there.

And you wouldn’t want to spoil your view of one of the world’s most spectacular beaches – Whitehaven Beach.

Seriously, people don’t get sick that often. And no one was sick on my flight!

Whilst I’ve seen the Great Barrier Reef before many times on the water, it’s a difference experience from the air and it’s worth checking out just to have another perspective of the seascape.
