Today, I’ve got some unusual Food Art photos from Margie’s Vietnam Tours. They’ve sent me some cool photos from Vietnam previously like the overloaded motor scooter and buffalo rides, which is just a small sample of some of the unusual photos that you’ll come across on their tours.
I haven’t been to Vietnam yet, but have always wanted to – mainly because their scooters are famous for carrying way too much more than their designed engineering capacity, which is shown in the really cool example on this silly website called How To Ride A Bike – With an Ox. And also, I really like Vietnamese food and I want to try the real deal. Even if one of my friends has told me about the joys of drinking snake blood in some rocket fuel alcohol.
But today, Margie’s Vietnam Tours have some edible vegetable animals! Lets check them out!
Some Cool Food Art Pictures!
Now this is something that would take a lot of time and patience – which is something I don’t have. These photos of Food Art are exactly that – art on a plate. It’s something that you can eat after some poor person has been slaving away for hours with a few chunks of vegetables and a sharp knife to make sure that a masterpiece is created for your eyes and saliva glands. And it probably would only take a few minutes for you to scoff it down and make a big pig of yourself!
First of all, check out the carrot peacock! Yes, all of those ‘feathers’ are pieces of carrot all arranged nicely across the plate.
Followed up by the carrot prawn which is suspended by a stick of ginger!
So if you have one of these creations that come across your plate any time soon, think of the poor guy who probably spent hours creating it!
Anyway, I’m guessing that these photos should appear in Working the Plate: The Art of Food Presentation because they’re really good!
